We are always looking for people to help in a variety of ways depending on the event. Typically, over the year we need people to help us running stalls at the Christmas and summer fairs, serving food at disco/creche events, organising the talent show, speaking to local businesses.
This year however, the Priory Parents' Association have two key positions vacancies at the moment, the Chair and Treasurer roles.. The Parents’ Association perform a vital role in raising funds for the school and have contributed to many projects that have enhanced school life.
Chair: After a year acting as Chair of the Priory School Parents’ Association, Rebecca Middleton has decided to step down. If anyone is interested in taking on this role or would like more information, please contact Rebecca or Rachel Williams, or let the school office know.
The position would involve leading a team of parents to ensure the smooth organisation and running of events such as the Christmas and Summer fetes, fun run and quiz night. It is a highly rewarding and enjoyable role and a good way of meeting new parents and getting involved with the school.
Treasurer: After two years as Treasurer, Emma Burt would keen to know if anyone would be interested in taking on this role. It involves keeping control over the cash in and outflows, banking activities and maintaining simple spreadsheets for both cashbook and event profit & loss. It is a vital role which brings with it plenty of involvement with the school. You don’t need to be an accountant to play this role!
If you have spare time or hidden talents and would like to help raise money to support all the children at the Priory. If you are interested please contact the school office and you will be put in touch with the right person.
Many thanks
